Author: Dana Kolter Had mine put on last summer by a local Triumph dealer and was very disappointed with the look and fitment. Used the extension kit and it was not a cheap proposition. Worked OK but looked very bad when I tried to have them in the up position. Turned out that THE INSTALLER DID NOT TRY TO ADJUST THEM TO ACTUALLY FIT CORRECTLY. I took them apart this weekend [something with no directions - thought I would end up with a box of parts as usual] and learned these two little pins on the extension kit have a key aspect, which allow the things to be properly adjusted - and now they fit like they were made for it. Now, I plan to replace the front ones that look terrible with OEM Triumph Floorboards and a heal toe shift [no directions on these either and all these little screws and nuts and plastic things] . I think I am getting this stuff figured out after 30 years on a bike.
